A few little things to help you feel good.
Feeling good isn't always about making big changes.
💛 Sometimes it's getting outside for some fresh air.
💛 Taking a break from your phone.
💛 Getting a good night's sleep.
💛 Going somewhere you've never been.
💛 Spending time with people you love.
💛 Or simply giving yourself permission to slow down.
Feel Good is my collection of hints, tips and ideas to help you make a little more time for yourself — whether you're travelling or simply getting through everyday life.
Because looking after yourself shouldn't have to be complicated.
Feel good, wherever you are.
Travel can be exciting, but it can also be tiring. Long flights, early starts, busy itineraries and unfamiliar surroundings can sometimes leave you feeling like you need a holiday after your holiday. A little preparation can make a big difference.
Think about staying hydrated, getting some movement into your day, allowing yourself time to rest and not trying to squeeze absolutely everything into your itinerary.
Sometimes the best travel plan is the one that leaves a little room to breathe.
Give yourself permission to slow down
We're often encouraged to make the most of every minute. But you don't have to. A holiday doesn't have to be packed with activities from breakfast until bedtime.
💛 Spend the afternoon beside the pool.
💛 Sit in a café and watch the world go by.
💛 Read a book.
💛 Take a long lunch.
💛 Go for a walk with nowhere particular to be.
Doing nothing can be doing something.
Get outside
You don't need to climb a mountain or run a marathon. A walk through a park, along the beach or around your local neighbourhood can be enough to clear your head and change your perspective.
And when you're travelling, getting outside can be one of the simplest ways to experience somewhere new.
Sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what you need.
Move in a way you enjoy
Exercise doesn't have to mean a gym.
💛 Walk somewhere instead of taking the car.
💛 Go for a swim.
💛 Explore a new city on foot.
💛 Take a hike.
💛 Dance.
💛 Cycle.
💛 Stretch.
💛 Or simply get up from your desk and move around.
Find something that feels good rather than something you feel you should be doing.
Movement should be something you enjoy, not something you dread.
Make time to switch off
We're surrounded by notifications, messages, emails and endless scrolling. Sometimes the best thing you can do is put your phone down.
💛 Try leaving it behind while you go for a walk.
💛 Turn notifications off for an hour.
💛 Have dinner without checking your screen.
💛 Or give yourself an evening without social media.
You might be surprised how much you notice when you're not looking at a screen.
Look up. There's a whole world happening around you.
Sleep matters
A good night's sleep can make everything feel a little easier. Try creating a routine that helps you wind down, give yourself some time away from screens before bed and make your bedroom somewhere you actually want to sleep.
And when you're travelling, remember that your body may need a little time to adjust to a new time zone.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest.
Feel good when you travel
Don't just see somewhere. Experience it. One of the best things about travel is the way it can change how you feel.
💛 A new place can give you perspective.
💛 A different culture can challenge how you see the world.
💛 Nature can make you slow down.
💛 And time away from your normal routine can give you space to think.
That's why I believe travel can be about much more than simply visiting somewhere.
It's about how the journey makes you feel.
A few simple ideas to try
💛 Start your day outside.
💛 Even ten minutes of fresh air can be a lovely way to begin the day.
💛 Leave some space in your itinerary.
💛 You don't need every hour planned.
💛 Try something new.
💛 A new food, a new walking route, a new experience or somewhere you've never visited before.
💛 Spend time with people.
💛 Put the phone away and actually be present.
💛 Make time for yourself.
💛 Even if it's just half an hour.
💛 Do something that makes you happy.
It doesn't need to be productive. It just needs to make you smile.
And when you need a proper reset...
Sometimes a few little changes aren't enough. Sometimes you really do need to get away. That's where travel can make a difference.
💛 A peaceful countryside retreat.
💛 A wellness escape.
💛 A few days beside the sea.
💛 A beautiful hotel with a spa.
💛 A walking adventure.
💛 Or simply somewhere completely different.
I've created Wellness & Relaxation to help you discover holidays designed around slowing down, switching off and giving yourself some time back.
Because sometimes getting away is exactly what you need.
Feel Good. Give Back.

Look after yourself. Give back. Make a difference.
One last thought.
You don't have to completely change your life to feel better. Sometimes it's the little things.
💛 A walk.
💛 A good night's sleep.
💛 A proper conversation.
💛 A day outside.
💛 A holiday to look forward to.
💛 An hour without your phone.
💛 A little more time for yourself.
Find the things that make you feel good — and make time for them.
What's next?
I'll be adding new hints, ideas and inspiration to Feel Good, covering everything from travelling well and getting more from your holidays to simple ways of making a little more time for yourself.
